The Council boss made the assurance while receiving the State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corp ( NYSC), Ogun State, Mrs. Olayinka Diana Nasamo in his office at Owode-Egba.
He stressed that a year mandatory service of the serving corp members should be a memory that will linger on even after they must have completed their service year.
He further commended the diversity of the programme where all the members are able to pick interest in their choice primary assignment, as the purpose drive many to seek career job appointment from the organization they work during their service year.
He however appreciates the courtesy call of the State Co-ordinator, Mrs. Nasamo , as her request will be properly looked into and form a partnership in creating an ambience worth remembered for after service year of all serving batches of corp members in Obafemi Owode local government.
The Chairman in his statement confirmed recent employment of Kehinde, one of the corp members as permanent staff of the local government.
Earlier, Princess Mrs. Olayinka Diana Nasamo, Co-ordinator, National Youth Service Corp, Ogun State who is on a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman, Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA, stressed that her coming is aimed at congratulating him on his second term based on his achievements, explained that her agency is well blessed with competent youths, with rich divers cultural advantages that can be tap into through update of the day to day activities of the government at the grassroot in which can be of benefits to the corp members in the council area.
She explained that the State NYSC will be organizing a cultural day where all the corp members will be showcasing their cultural values and display at a gala nite event, slated for 14th December, 2024.
