Prominent activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has expressed outrage over the recent hike in telecommunications tariffs, accusing President Bola Tinubu’s administration of inflicting undue hardship on Nigerians.
In his reaction to the 50% increase in telecom service charges, Adeyanju described the government as a “regime from hell,” noting that its policies are worsening the economic struggles faced by citizens.
Taking to his X account, the activist wrote:
"They just increased tariffs for all phone calls in the country. This government is determined to finish Nigerians with suffering—a government from hell.
"This year, I have zero tolerance for nonsense. If you come to my timeline to defend rubbish, I will block you. Praising a government that is destroying the lives of Nigerians and the economy daily is unacceptable."
They just increased tariff for all phone calls in the country. The government has vowed that it must finish off Nigerians with suffering. A government from hell!

This year I have zero tolerance for bullshit. If you come to my timeline to defend rubbish, I will block you. You can’t be praising a government that is destroying the lives of Nigerians and the economy daily and defending oppressors.
