Kano LG Chairman Appoints 60 Aides to Boost Local Development-OXYGIST

The Chairman of Nassarawa Local Government Area in Kano State, Yusuf Imam, popularly known as ‘Ogan Boye,’ has appointed 60 aides to enhance governance and development within the LGA.


This was disclosed in an approval letter signed by the Local Government Secretary, Ado Muhd Hotoro, stating that the appointments align with the chairman’s vision to promote and develop the area.


“Sequel to the efforts of the Honourable Chairman of Nassarawa Local Government to promote and develop the local government area, I wish to convey the approval for the appointment of the following prominent individuals to various roles across different fields and professions,” read the letter, dated January 6, 2024.


Among the appointees are 18 Special Reporters tasked with overseeing operations in departments, markets, and primary healthcare centers within the local government.


Other roles include Executive Assistant, Chief Details Affairs I and II, Chief Protocol Officer, Principal Personnel Secretary, and eight Director Generals, among others.


The letter highlighted that the appointments were based on merit, dedication, honesty, and commitment, showcasing the chairman’s commitment to effective governance and local development.
