The Ondo State Police Command has announced the arrest of 19 individuals linked to a violent cult clash in Owo town, Owo Local Government Area of the state.
The incident, which occurred on Monday, claimed the lives of no fewer than four people following a confrontation between two rival cult groups.
In response to the unrest, the state government swiftly imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew on the community to restore peace and curb further violence.
During a visit to the affected area on Tuesday, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Wilfred Afolabi, confirmed the arrests and assured residents that normalcy had been restored in the community.
