The Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Dr Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to community security with the donation of patrol bikes to the Ogun state Amotekun Corps, Abeokuta North division during an official visit to the office of the chairman
The chairman emphasized the importance of equipping local security agencies with the necessary tools to enhance their efficiency in safeguarding lives and property.
The patrol bikes, he noted, would enable officers to navigate difficult terrains and respond swiftly to security challenges within the local government area.

In response, Coordinator of the Amotekun Corps Abeokuta North LG AMT Fowotade Azeez expressed their gratitude for the donation, assuring the chairman and the people of Abeokuta North that the patrol bikes would be put to effective use.
They reiterated their commitment to maintaining law and order, emphasizing that the support from the local government would significantly enhance their ability to carry out patrols and rapid response operations.
