Jamal Musiala has officially extended his stay at Bayern Munich, signing a new contract that will keep him at the Allianz Arena until the summer of 2030.
Amid speculation about a potential departure when his initial contract expires in 2026, the highly talented midfielder has instead opted for a four-year extension, reaffirming his commitment to the Bundesliga giants.
The German international expressed his excitement about continuing his journey with Bayern, describing the decision as an easy one.
"I am really happy. Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world. I took my first steps in professional football here and firmly believe we can achieve something big with this club in the coming years. I feel at home both in Munich and at the club with our great fans. We’ve got a lot of things we want to achieve. I’m excited for everything that’s to come," Musiala said.
Musiala has been on the radar of top European clubs, including Real Madrid and Manchester City, who had previously shown interest in securing his services. However, with this long-term extension, those clubs will now have to shift their focus elsewhere in search of midfield reinforcements.
Bayern Munich fans can now look forward to several more years of watching one of their brightest stars shine at the heart of their midfield.
