Popular Nigerian media personality, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, widely known as Nedu Wazobia, has responded to a leaked audio recording alleging his involvement in hard drugs and fraudulent activities.
The allegations were made by controversial social media critic, Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan. According to reports from New Telegraph, VeryDarkMan accused Nedu of having close ties with individuals engaged in illicit activities across South Africa, Morocco, and Turkey. The claims emerged amid an ongoing dispute over allegations of NGO fraud against Nedu.
Reacting to the leaked audio, Nedu took to his social media page to refute the allegations, firmly stating that he has no ties to any criminal activity.
In his post, he expressed concern over how the controversy was escalating, making it clear that he would never engage in illegal dealings.
“Hello everyone, this is not a joke anymore. I know nothing about that voice note going around. I didn’t make that voice note.
While this seems to be fun and games, I have never and will never be part of anything criminal.”
Nedu’s statement aims to distance himself from the allegations, reinforcing his commitment to maintaining a clean reputation.
