Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has called out social media critic, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), accusing him of paying N2 million to create an AI-generated voice note allegedly featuring media personality Nedu Wazobia.
VeryDarkMan recently released an audio recording that purportedly captured Nedu bragging about having friends involved in fraud (Yahoo) and drug-related activities. The critic also submitted petitions regarding the alleged confession to three different embassies.
However, Nedu firmly denied the claims, stating that he never made such remarks and has no involvement in any criminal activity.
Taking to his Instagram page, Uche Maduagwu alleged that VeryDarkMan had fabricated the voice note using artificial intelligence (AI), paying someone N2 million to create it.
In a video, the actor slammed VDM, saying:
"So you paid someone N2M to do an AI voice note about Nedu just to damage his reputation? Now, it’s clear that your mother didn’t raise you well. Why are you doing this? All because of clout? When Buhari said Nigerian youths are lazy, now I believe him."
The controversy continues to stir reactions online, with many calling for evidence to support or debunk the claims.
