Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur could make a move for Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze in the summer transfer window.
Spurs have struggled with injuries this season, with several key players sidelined since last year. This has forced manager Ange Postecoglou to rely heavily on young talents, leading to a difficult run of form that has seen them lose eight of their last 14 matches across all competitions.
Despite expectations of squad reinforcements in January, Tottenham only signed Mathys Tel and Antonin Kinsky, missing out on several targets, including Chukwueze and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
The Nigerian winger has found himself on the fringes at AC Milan, with limited game time in recent weeks. Reports suggested he was not in manager Paulo Fonseca’s plans before the January window closed, but he opted to remain at the club.
However, with his situation unlikely to improve, Chukwueze could be open to a summer exit, and Tottenham may reignite their interest in signing him.
AC Milan could demand around €25 million for the 24-year-old, a fee that Spurs may find reasonable as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
While Tottenham remain the frontrunners, Fulham also showed interest in signing Chukwueze in January, though no deal materialized. If his struggles at Milan persist, a move to the Premier League could be on the horizon.
