The Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Dumpling, Hon. Olumuyiwa Fajimi, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across the country as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitri, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
He disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Saturday.
Fajimi acknowledged the significance of Ramadan as a period of deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and acts of charity.
He emphasized that the lessons learned during the fasting period should continue to guide the actions and interactions of Muslims even after the celebrations.
He urged Muslims to remain steadfast in the virtues of love, tolerance, and compassion, which are core teachings of Islam adding that these values are crucial for fostering peaceful coexistence and unity in society.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitri, I encourage all our Muslim brothers and sisters to uphold the spirit of sacrifice, patience, and generosity that Ramadan has taught us.
“Let us continue to extend kindness and support to one another, especially to those in need,” Fajimi stated.
He urged Muslims to celebrate the occasion with moderation and a sense of responsibility. “While it is a time of joy and gratitude, let us celebrate in ways that reflect the true essence of Ramadan—humility, gratitude, and service to humanity,” he added.
