Early Life and Education
Born over 50 years ago at Oniyanin Maternity Hospital in Ibadan, Oba Oluseyi Adediran’s early years were marked by resilience and a strong commitment to education. His foundational education took him across several schools including ALG Primary School, Oke-Ago Owu; All Saints Primary School, Kobiti, Abeokuta; and Oke-Owa Primary School, Ijebu Ode. He completed his secondary education at Ijemo Titun High School and Asakaran Grammar School, Ibese, in Yewa South LGA, Ogun State.
He later attended Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, where he earned both National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Marketing (1995–2001). Driven by a passion for theology and leadership, he pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at the Pan-African College of Mission and Theology, Ibadan, in affiliation with Evangelical Christian University, Colorado, USA.
He became a Chartered Marketer through the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), and was inducted in 2007.
His thirst for knowledge saw him attaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from POMA International University, Republic of Benin, in 2017, where he was also honored with a Doctor of Arts (D.A.) degree the same day.
Professional Journey
Oba Adediran is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in statistics and marketing. He joined the Federal Office of Statistics in 1992 and rose through the ranks to become an Executive Statistical Extension Officer, a key role in the development and management of official data in Nigeria.
He is the Managing Director/CEO of AB-INDAR INT’L NIG. LTD, a subsidiary of Indar International Ventures and Mayomikun Johnson Nig. Company, both reputable distributors of PZ Cussons Plc and Godrej Nigeria Ltd.
His professional affiliations include membership with the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), Institute of Intrapreneurship Management and Human Resources Development (IHP), CIAP, USA, and IAMPS.
Chieftaincy Titles and Royal Lineage
Oba Adediran’s royal heritage and community leadership are well recognized. He holds numerous chieftaincy titles, including:

• Akinlagun of Owu Kingdom, installed by former Monarch in Owu Kingdom, Late Oba Adegboyega Dosumu

His lineage traces back to Solabomi, one of the original settlers and a direct descendant of Oba Pawu, the first Olowu of Owu in Abeokuta. His grandfather, Chief Jeremiah Oparimade Adediran, was a notable community leader and politician in the Action Group era, while his father, Emmanuel Adio Adediran, is the current Baba Oba of Akinale. His uncle, Prince Abiodun Samuel Adediran, a retired diplomat, is the Alakoso Surulere of Owu Abeokuta and Ekerin of Akinale.
Leadership in Politics and Public Service
Oba Adediran’s public service career includes serving as Special Assistant during the Obasanjo administration, and as State Coordinator for the 2007 presidential campaign of General Buba Marwa in Ogun State. These roles took him across Nigeria, building valuable networks and leadership experience.

Having traveled extensively across Asia, America, and other continents, Oba Adediran brings a global perspective to traditional leadership. He is married to Deaconess Oluwafolakemi Adediran, the Executive Director of AB-INDAR INT’L NIG. LTD, and their union is blessed with godly children.
