Speaking during the handing and taking over ceremony, Brigadier General Aminu, pledged to build on the achievements of his predecessor. While addressing troops of the Brigade, he also urged officers to continue to maintain high level of discipline and give proper mentorship and guidance to their subordinates.
Earlier in his address, the outgone Commander, Major General IM Abdullahi urged officers and men of the Brigade to give the same level of support that was accorded to him to the new Commander in order sustain troops efficiency and high level of professionalism in the discharge of duty.
Highlights of the occasion include the presentation of the flag of office by the outgoing Commander, Major General IM Abdullahi to the newly appointed Commander, Brigadier General MT Aminu, signing of handing and taking over note and group photograph.
