My case with Adebutu is still in court - Segun Showunmi

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Ogun State, Segun Showunmi stated that the supreme court in Abuja is still hearing his case concerning the party's primary election against Adebutu and expressed confidence that the court would rule in it's favour .

Showunmi disclosed this during a workshop for all wards party mobilizers and coalition agent  ahead of the forthcoming general election held in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

He said the case before the court is so delicate and sensitive that for the supreme court to overrule the court of appeal on that jurisdiction would mean that almost all cases that they have already decided would be cancelled .

According to him"we have taken them before the highest court in the land and if they like they should use all the sand in the bar beach , convert it into their money and drop it in the supreme court , it will not work.

Showunmi also cautioned the electorate against over -voting saying that any polling unit with over- voting will be cancelled according to the law.

"This election, President Muhammadu Buhari has tried as a humanbeing to give us all Nigerians the opportunity to let our one vote count .Its what you vote that's going to determine our faith.

"Go and vote PDP in this coming election, not because of Atiku , not because of Showunmi but because of ourselves and our children .

Showunmi also promised local government with the highest number of votes  2million naira and also the highest vote from  polling unit whether win or loose will get 500,000 naira.

He said "don't let anybody deceive you, if the first election is gone, nothing would happen again in the second election."
