Ogun-based Philanthropist, Omokayode felicitates with Muslims as Ramadan fast begins

Chief Omokayode Anwojue a Philanthropist and a Politician in Ogun State has greeted Muslims in the state and across the country for witnessing the commencement of yet another Ramadan fasting.

Omokayode in a press release signed by him urged the Islamic faithful to pray relentlessly during the fasting period.

He described the Holy Month of Ramadan as one that is usually eagerly anticipated by Muslims as the Ramadan fast is one of the five pillars of Islam.

Omokayode enjoined Muslims in the state to use the month-long fasting period to pray for peace in the State and the Country.

He also admonished Muslims to tune their minds to the messages of love, brotherliness, and peaceful co-existence inherent in the messages of the Holy Prophet, while also being their brothers’ keepers.

He thanked the Almighty Allah for protecting the lives of the people and giving them the grace to witness this year’s Ramadan.

He therefore wished all Nigerian Muslims a happy and Ramadan while urging them “to use this Holy Month to intensify prayers for workable solutions to Nigeria’s myriad problems.”
