In a statement released on Friday and signed by its National Patron, Alhaji Abdulwahab Korede Quadri (FCIB), National Coordinator QS Makinta (FNIQS), and Alhaja Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, BCO emphasized that the President could not have made better choices.
The group described Gbajabiamila and Akume as capable, loyal, and dedicated leaders with a broad perspective that encompasses all of Nigeria.
They urged the appointees to reciprocate the trust placed in them by serving the nation wholeheartedly and without any wrongdoing.
"The leadership of Bola Campaign Organization (BCO) congratulates Nigeria's President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointment of House of Representatives Speaker, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff and Former Governor of Benue State, George Akume as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
"We are optimistic that with these appointments, it will further boost the image and success of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu - led administration.
"We therefore charge the appointees to reciprocate the trust reposed in them to serve the nation to greater heights.
"It is our prayers that God Almighty will grant you all the needed knowledge, wisdom and guidance to deliver the service as expected." The group said
The appointment of the Chief of Staff will become effective prayer 14, 2023, which coincides with the conclusion of Rt. Hon Gbajabiamila's term as Speaker of the House of Representatives on June 13.
