TAF clinched the award after a rigorous competition with three other service-oriented NGOs. TAF secured 1574 points, surpassing its closest rival, the Adegboyega Onasanya Foundation (AOF), which garnered 1569 points.
The award ceremony was hosted by the Ijebu North Youth Awards, a local group dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievements, contributions, and leadership within the Ijebu-Igbo community and its surroundings, with a focus on promoting local growth and the betterment of humanity.
During the presentation of the award to the foundation's representatives, Senbadejo Olawale, Chairman of the INYA Committee, commended TAF for its unwavering commitment in improving the welfare of the less privileged through philanthropic endeavors and its dedication to enhance the quality of education for local students.
He stated, "our exceptional winners, your accomplishments have set the bar high, and we encourage you to continue pushing boundaries, exploring new horizons, and striving for excellence. Your potential knows no bounds, and we have faith that you will continue to make significant contributions to our society."
Hon. Omobolaji Odusanya, Chairman of the Ijebu North Local Government, also praised the organizers for recognizing the achievements of the Ijebu community, both locally and internationally.
He expressed gratitude to Prince Omotola Adebajo, the founder of the Foundation, for his years of support for youth initiatives, philanthropic efforts, and the recent successful free summer coaching program for secondary school students in the Ijebu-Igbo area.
Responding on behalf of the Tola Adebajo Foundation, Mr. Olufemi Oluyemi, the foundation’s coordinator, appreciated the organizers for considering it worthy of such recognition and assured the foundation's continued support to the cause of uplifting every indigent child to greatness for the overall good of everyone and growth of the country.
