Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre has added two batches of awards from separate bodies of professionals for his outstanding performance in giving quality dividends of democracy that cut across sectors of government among the councils in Ogun State.
Council Boss expressed that his administration remain focus towards giving quality dividends of democracy to his people at the grassroot. He further promised that by the time His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun CON led administration in the state will be marking a year in office of his second term , many other projects will be Commissioned.
Presenting the awards, Dr. Dickson Bewaji on behalf of City Herald Magazine, Lekki, Lagos highlighted the criteria in choosing Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre has the best performing Chairman in Ogun State despite paucity of fund and the economic dwindling at this period.
He further stated that the award is giving in recognition of the monumental and massive contributions towards Obafemi Owode Local Government, his administrative acumen, leadership qualities coupled with peaceful coexistence among his people.
In the same vein, Joint Mind Club, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Chapter presented a leadership award of excellent to the council boss as the Best Local Government Chairman in Ogun State.
While presenting the award plaque, Emperor and Empress JM Afolabi Toheeb and JM Akinsade Zainab commended Amb. Ogunsola for his inclusiveness style of governance which has played a pivotal role in the development of the council area. 'We as students can't undermine your open door approach, which non of the local government chairmen in the state has ever exhibited', particularly students club like ours.
Cheers and accolades surrounded the atmosphere as the past local government Chairmen in Obafemi Owode, State House of Assembly Representatives and other political functionaries gathered to give good testimonies on the giant strides of the Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre led administration in the council area.
Some of the dignitaries includes, Engr. Adesina, Rt. Hon. Tunji Egbetokun, Hon. Erinsan, Hon. Nike Osoba, Hon. Akintande Adeola, Alhaji Jamiu Balogun, among others.
