OGIC CEO Congratulates Tinubu on Supreme Court Victory, Calls for Focus on Development

 The Chief Executive Officer of Olageospatial Global Investment Company (OGIC), Olajide Fashina, expressed his gratitude to the Almighty and extended his congratulations to President Bola Tinubu following the President's recent victory at the Supreme Court. 

Fashina during an interview with newsmen in Abeokuta emphasized that it was now time to prioritize governance and address the well-being of the Nigerian populace.

Fashina stressed the need for a concerted effort to reduce the suffering of the masses, stating, "The focus now should be how to reduce the suffering of the masses. The president should start to establish a legacy for Nigeria." 

He outlined a comprehensive vision for the nation's development, touching on multiple key areas.

The CEO  urged the President to provide a comprehensive blueprint for Nigeria's future, emphasizing the importance of reviewing the constitution to ensure that future generations benefit from a more efficient government.

Among the major concerns raised by Fashina were the need to rejuvenate Nigeria's refinery operations, improve the country's infrastructure, enhance rail services, and address the issue of tanker trucks on the roads, which have been a major cause of accidents.

Fashina also called for a revolution in agriculture and industry and advocated for a total reform of the educational and healthcare systems. 

He stressed the importance of retaining trained medical professionals within the country.

He rallied Nigerians to unite in the pursuit of national development and urged President Tinubu to consider local government autonomy to enable more effective local governance. 

He also emphasized the importance of improving financial institutions and credit facilities for small and medium enterprises.

In a significant move towards enhancing national security, Fashina called for the implementation of state and local government policing. 

He said this would strengthen security at a grassroots level and help address the ongoing security challenges facing the nation.

Fashina highlighted the potential of Nigeria's solid minerals sector and cited the President's success in Lagos as a blueprint for national development. 

He stressed on the need for a comprehensive development plan for the country.
