Lalubu Street Association Unites Oke Ilewo Youth in Festive Carnival

In a vibrant display of community spirit, Lalubu Street Association orchestrated a lively carnival on December 23rd, drawing in masses of enthusiastic youth eager to revel in the festive season together.

Addressing newsmen at the occasion,the Chairman of the association Comrade Olaniyi Sowemimo  disclosed that the reason behind the youth carnival was to bring the indigenes of the community together to chart ways of meeting the needs of the community.
 He stressed that the festival was the only means of attracting people especially the well to do, to understand the needs of the community and to invest in the small businesses around the community and assist in supporting the needs of the community.

Olaniyi  extended heartfelt appreciation to everyone who partook in the joyous celebration. 
He emphasized the significance of unity, he expressed that the event aimed to bring together the youth of Oke Ilewo community as a cohesive force.

Comrade Olaniyi commended the Governor Dapo Abiodun-led state government for living up to his campaign promises on youth empowerment, rehabilitation and construction of roads in the state.
He appreciated the efforts of Governor Abiodun in giving some of the bad roads in the state a facelift 

Comrade Olaniyi pleaded for more support from the state in other areas of infrastructural development.

The carnival, marked by exuberant festivities, underscored the importance of fostering camaraderie among the community's young residents. 
 Lalubu Street Association succeeded in creating an inclusive space for shared laughter and celebration, embodying the true spirit of the yuletide season in Oke Ilewo community.
