Ogunsola stressed that the visit is aimed at meeting all the concerned stakeholders in the market to fine-tune all forms of misconceptions and to sound a message of hope to all and sundry, as the interest of the His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, Governor of Ogun State is so much vested on the Market which was one of the highpoints of request made by Iyalojas,Babalojas and market women during the re-election campaign tour of Prince Dapo Abiodun Led Administration to Ofada ward of the council area.
He further explained that the project is in four phases which is planned to cater for both small and medium scale sellers in the market.
"I am here to see things for myself, and to let you know that this project we are bringing is for everyone in this market which will be used simply by our existing and other sellers here.
"l want to implore you all to cooperate with government so we can achieve desire result without any recourse to enforcement of law or order and also to urge you to adhere strictly to every directives and instructions from government officials that had served you notice of stay of execution on any personal or individual buildings within the market, which may hinder or obstruct the government's public interest",said council boss.
Mrs. Ade-Oshifogun Oluwasolamide, Zonal Officer, Physical planing Office, Mowe, enlightened the people at the market on the need and importance of the projects approval by the government before embarking on it.
She however ordered the stopage of an ongoing construction of a building in the market which has no building and survey approval, as it was proclaimed illegal without due process and the site was sealed for further construction work.
Speaking at the visit, Chief Mrs. Tawa Olorunjekoda, Iyaloja of Ofada Market, expressed joy and readiness to give every support to the government in uplifting the status of the Ofada Market to the world standard, as it has been an utmost desires of her and other sons and daughters including the people selling wares at the market.
She further praised His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON for prioritizing their request during his visit to the area.
In the same vein, Chief Olawale Akanbi, Babaloja of Ofada commended the efforts of Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government for visiting the market despite is tight schedule.
Similarly, a town hall meeting was conveyed at the compound of Asoju Oba of Ofada, Chief Babatunde Oladele to further enlighten the indigenes of Ofada on the importance of Untra Modern Market as a laudable project in the area.
He therefore urged all concerned to disparage any complacerncy among themselves to achieve desirable expectants.
