Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate, Handi, has shared the reason behind her decision to remain single for the past year.
In a candid conversation with fellow housemate Fairme on Sunday, Handi revealed that she’s been avoiding new relationships as she continues to heal from the emotional turmoil of her previous one, which she described as “toxic.”
“I’ve been single for about a year now,” Handi confessed. “My last relationship was toxic and emotionally draining. He stressed me out, and I just don’t like stress. Right now, I’m focused on finding myself.”
Handi further explained that the relationship wasn’t “serious,” and her ex-partner wasn’t “nice” to her. She also recalled being “territorial” and even getting into a fight with another ex at a club.
