The All Progressives Congress (APC) continued its grassroots campaign efforts in Abeokuta North local government area of Ogun State, with an engaging outing across Ward2( Ikija), 3(Ago Oko), and 4(Iyana Idofin).
The campaign started with a prayer led by the Chief Imam of Ikija Central Mosque, Alhaji Moroof Awesu, at Ward 2.
Party members and leaders were introduced, setting the stage for what was an exciting and energizing event for APC faithful.
In her speech, the APC Chairman, who also serves as the Director General of the campaign Alhaja Faidat Sarumi, urged party executives and members in the wards to work tirelessly to secure victory at the polls.
She emphasized the importance of grassroots efforts in ensuring a successful outcome in the upcoming local elections.
The Commissioner for Forestry, Engr. Taiwo Oludotun encourage members to collaborate with party leadership to drive home victory come November 16th.
Also, the state APC organizing secretary Hon. Yemi Adelani Igwe appealed to party members to avoid inflammatory language that could lead to political violence.
He urged everyone to remain focused on the campaign and the task ahead, emphasizing the need for discipline and seriousness as the elections approached.
During the event, Councillorship candidates were officially presented as the party's flag bearers .
Alhaja Faidat also introduced Hon. Lanre Oyegbola Sodipo and Hon. Taiyelolu Egbeyemi as the party's chairmanship and vice chairmanship candidate, reinforcing the unity and preparedness of the party to win the elections.
On behalf of Dr. Oyegbola, gifts were presented to the wards, further solidifying support for the candidates.
