Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) National Leader and 2023 presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, as he marks his 68th birthday.
In a celebratory message shared on his official Facebook page, Governor Yusuf lauded Kwankwaso’s enduring influence on Nigeria’s political landscape and his contributions to national development. Describing Kwankwaso as both a mentor and a pivotal figure in the country’s politics, Yusuf reflected on their 38-year relationship, emphasizing how Kwankwaso’s leadership has shaped his career and that of many others.
“Dear Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, I celebrate you today as a mentor and our esteemed National Leader of the NNPP on your 68th birthday. Your leadership and political philosophy have inspired communities and nurtured leaders across Nigeria. You remain a formidable force in the nation’s political sphere,” the governor wrote.
Governor Yusuf also extended his best wishes to Kwankwaso on behalf of his family and the people of Kano State, praying for his continued success and many more years of impactful service to the nation.
Kwankwaso, whose political career spans decades, has held numerous prestigious roles, including Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, two-time Governor of Kano State, Minister of Defence, and Special Envoy to Darfur and Somalia. Most recently, he was the NNPP’s presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections.
