Ogun Chairmaship Candidate Lanre Oyegbola Pledges Continued Development of Imala Community if Elected

Hon. Lanre Oyegbola Sodipo, a chairmanship candidate for All Progressive Congress (APC)
Abeokuta North Local Government in Ogun State, has shared details about his recent contributions to the Imala community, which include renovating the local maternity health centreand empowering local youths.

Oyegbola revealed these achievements during a campaign visit to the traditional ruler of Imala, as part of his ongoing ward-to-ward campaign.

Oyegbola explained that he took on the renovation of the maternity health centre  in Imala after noticing its deteriorated state during an earlier visit.

Recognizing the need for improvement, he committed resources to give the facility a "befitting look," transforming it into a more suitable environment for healthcare delivery in the community.

In addition to the structural renovation, Oyegbola donated new medical equipment to the centre, enhancing its capacity to serve the residents effectively.

According to him, this gesture was driven by his commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that residents have access to quality healthcare services.

Highlighting his focus on community-driven development, Oyegbola emphasized that all labor for the renovation project, including bricklaying and painting, was sourced locally.

By employing workers from Imala, he aimed to stimulate the local economy and provide income for residents involved in the project.

As part of his youth empowerment initiatives, Oyegbola also shared that he trained 75 youths in Imala in paint manufacturing, equipping them with skills that could lead to job creation and self-sufficiency.

This program, he said, is part of his broader vision to create sustainable economic opportunities within the community.

The chairmanship hopeful expressed his gratitude for the support he has received and urged residents of Imala to support his bid in the upcoming local elections.

He assured them that, if elected, he would continue prioritizing community development and creating opportunities for all residents, particularly in healthcare and youth empowerment.
