A 30-year-old man, known simply as Delo, has been found dead in his home in Elewuro, Ondo West Local Government Area, sparking fear and grief among local residents. His body was discovered on the evening of October 16, 2024.
According to sources, Delo was alone in his room when the incident occurred, but the exact circumstances surrounding his death are still unclear. Concerns were raised when his brother repeatedly knocked on his door without receiving a response. Alarmed, neighboring tenants opened a window and were shocked to see Delo lying motionless on his bed.
The Fagun Police Division was promptly notified. Upon arrival, officers forced the door open and found visible bruises on Delo’s face, neck, and other parts of his body. In a twist of events, Delo’s brother was taken into custody after police discovered Delo’s phone in his possession prior to entering the room.
Delo's remains have since been transported to the morgue, while an investigation is underway. A police source confirmed that personnel secured the scene and are working diligently to uncover the truth behind this tragic incident.
