Tragedy struck in Kwale, Ndokwa West LGA, Delta State, as a groom-to-be lost his life in a suspected cultist attack on the morning of his wedding day. The heartbreaking incident, which occurred on Friday, also claimed another life and left one person severely injured.
Eyewitnesses described the horrifying scene, recounting how the groom was ambushed while walking with friends to purchase wedding items. "He was with his friends when the suspected cultists attacked," one witness shared.
Efforts to obtain comments from the police have reportedly been unsuccessful. However, security forces have ramped up patrols and established roadblocks in the area to curb further violence and restore calm.
