Nigerian journalist Chidiebube Okeoma has sparked online debate after sharing his frustration over a s3x worker demanding ₦30,000 for her services. According to Okeoma, the amount was excessive given the prevailing economic hardship in the country.
In a Facebook post on Monday, Okeoma recounted overhearing the exchange between the s3x worker and a potential client. "Why would a hook-up girl have the audacity to demand ₦30,000 for just one night?" he questioned.
He further shared his reaction, saying he was tempted to confront the woman about the price, only for her to lash back at him. “I walked away, but seriously, why ₦30,000? In this economy? Not even ₦5,000?” he wrote.
