The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of renowned businesswoman and socialite, Alhaja Adebisi Edionseri, popularly known as “Cash Madam.”
Alhaja Adebisi Edionseri passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the age of 89.
In a heartfelt statement issued to newsmen on Tuesday Alhaja Sarumi Akintunde described the late Cash Madam as a trailblazer in the business world, whose resilience and entrepreneurial spirit left an indelible mark on the community.
“Alhaja Adebisi Edionseri, was an embodiment of resilience, entrepreneurial acumen, and unwavering commitment to uplifting her community. Her presence graced every corner of her ventures, leaving a legacy that will inspire generations to come.
“Beyond her achievements in business, Cash Madam was celebrated as a philanthropist and community leader dedicated to empowering the less privileged, fostering unity, and advocating for economic growth.
“Her contributions to social development made her a cherished figure whose impact transcended her immediate environment.
“May the Almighty grant her eternal rest and console all those she has left behind."
