Odumodublvck Declares Himself Nigeria’s Best Rapper, Claims Supremacy Over Olamide-OXYGIST

A debate is brewing in Nigeria’s hip-hop scene as rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, boldly asserts his dominance over industry heavyweight Olamide.

Speaking in a recent interview on the Afrobeat Podcast with Adesope, Odumodublvck confidently declared himself the best rapper in Nigeria, claiming that he has surpassed Olamide in hip-hop supremacy.

According to him, while Olamide reigned as Nigeria’s top rapper four years ago, the landscape has since shifted in his favor. He argued that anyone vying for the title of the best must have a solid body of work to back up their claims—particularly an album.

Beyond his self-proclaimed rap dominance, Odumodublvck also touched on his relationships within the music industry. He clarified that while he is not friends with online personality Speed Darlington, he considers him his "spirit animal."

Adding an intriguing twist, the rapper shared a surreal anecdote about meeting Burna Boy—but not in the way fans might expect. He claimed that before meeting the "Last Last" hitmaker in real life, they had first encountered each other in a dream, where they sat together, sharing a meal of pounded yam.
