George made his declaration on Monday during a meeting with APC leaders in Ward 4, Sagamu.
In a statement he personally signed, he reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment, infrastructural development, and quality representation.
“After wide consultations, I am stepping forward to serve and bring meaningful change to Remo Federal Constituency.
“Now is the time to harness the power of our youthful population and create a better future for them. This is why I am contesting the Remo Federal Constituency seat; to bring quality representation to our people. You deserve that,” George stated.
The House of Representatives seat became vacant following the passing of Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga, the former representative and Deputy Chief Whip of the House, who died on January 15 after a brief illness.
