Controversial Nigerian activist, Vincent Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has openly dared the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to arrest him after he was seen spraying money at a nightclub.
VDM’s challenge was posted on his social media, where he shared photos of himself spraying cash in a club, seemingly mocking the EFCC’s selective enforcement of anti-money spraying laws.

In his post, VDM adopted the surname “Okoya”, referencing a recent incident involving the billionaire Okoya’s sons, who were captured spraying money in the presence of a policeman but faced no consequences.
Tagging the EFCC’s official Instagram handle, VDM sarcastically asked how the commission was doing, implying that where there is no law, there is no crime. His post appears to be a direct criticism of what he perceives as double standards in how the EFCC enforces financial laws.
VDM’s actions seem to be a response to the EFCC’s handling of past cases, highlighting the inconsistent application of justice when it comes to high-profile individuals versus ordinary Nigerians.
