Portable Drops New Song Inspired by Viral ‘Truth or Dare’ Controversy-OXYGIST

Nigerian street-pop star, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has released a new track inspired by the ongoing social media frenzy surrounding the ‘Truth or Dare’ scandal.

The controversy erupted after skit maker Ijoba Lande accused his wife, Darasimi, of infidelity with actor Baba Tee. The allegations have since sparked heated discussions online, drawing reactions from celebrities—including Portable himself.

Amid the uproar, Portable didn’t hold back his thoughts. He issued a stern warning to Baba Tee and any man who might try to get involved with his baby mama, actress Ashabi Simple. Expressing his disdain for infidelity, he even placed curses on anyone who dared to cross that line.

The singer recently shared a video of himself vibing to his new song, which is performed in Yoruba and appears to take direct shots at Ijoba Lande. In the lyrics, Portable references a man losing his wife to another, fueling the ongoing conversation.

Coincidentally, the song’s release aligned with Portable’s birthday on Wednesday, March 12. The singer was seen celebrating energetically, dancing to the new track as fans reacted with excitement. Many have praised his ability to turn trending topics into viral hits, cementing his reputation as one of Nigeria’s most unpredictable hitmakers.
