Ministerial nominees have arrived at the National Assembly for their screening by the Senate. According to Basheer Lado, Special Adviser to President Tinubu on National Assembly Matters, the slight delay was due to final documentation requirements for each candidate.
Many nominees were gathered in the office of Senator Basheer Lado, awaiting their scheduled entry into the Senate Chambers for the formal screening. Today’s Senate order paper lists the names of seven nominees scheduled for evaluation, as reported by The Nation.
The nominees listed for today include:
- Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda
- Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi
- Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu
- Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata
- Idi Mukhtar Maiha
- Dr. Jumoke Oduwole
- Suwaiba Said Ahmad, Ph.D.
